Konope sa legalizuje na viacer\u00fdch miestach viac ako kedyko\u013evek predt\u00fdm. Niektor\u00ed aktivisti presadzuj\u00fa legaliz\u00e1ciu s tvrdeniami o v\u00fdhod\u00e1ch klimatick\u00fdch zmien, ale nako\u013eko je pravda, \u017ee konope  m\u00f4\u017ee pom\u00f4c\u0165 predch\u00e1dza\u0165 klimatick\u00fdm zmen\u00e1m alebo ich zvr\u00e1ti\u0165?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My\u0161lienka, \u017ee pestovanie konope m\u00f4\u017ee pom\u00f4c\u0165 zmierni\u0165 d\u00f4sledky klimatick\u00fdch zmien, nie je nov\u00e1. Existuje v\u0161ak ve\u013ek\u00e9 mno\u017estvo dezinform\u00e1ci\u00ed, pseudovedy a r\u00f4znej propagandy z oboch str\u00e1n argumentov legaliz\u00e1cie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Argument monoterp\u00e9nu<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prevl\u00e1daj\u00faci argument tvrd\u00ed, \u017ee samotn\u00e1 v\u00fdsadba konope by mohla nahradi\u0165 terp\u00e9ny<\/a> uvo\u013enen\u00e9 stromami straten\u00fdmi v d\u00f4sledku odles\u0148ovania. Tieto terp\u00e9ny zohr\u00e1vaj\u00fa d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00fa \u00falohu pri regul\u00e1cii atmosf\u00e9rick\u00fdch podmienok. Konkr\u00e9tne, monoterp\u00e9ny (ktor\u00e9 v\u0161etky maj\u00fa rovnak\u00fd chemick\u00fd vzorec C10H16) s\u00fa v tomto mechanizme obzvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9, hoci d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9 m\u00f4\u017eu by\u0165 aj in\u00e9 typy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ako sa monoterp\u00e9ny uvo\u013e\u0148uj\u00fa, cestuj\u00fa do stratosf\u00e9ry, un\u00e1\u0161an\u00e9 konvek\u010dn\u00fdmi pr\u00fadmi a podliehaj\u00fa oxida\u010dn\u00fdm reakci\u00e1m s oz\u00f3nom, OH a NO3 v atmosf\u00e9re za vzniku radu ved\u013eaj\u0161\u00edch produktov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na\u0161e ch\u00e1panie presn\u00fdch mechanizmov, ktor\u00fdmi m\u00f4\u017eu monoterp\u00e9ny pom\u00e1ha\u0165 pri ochrane plan\u00e9ty pred \u0161kodliv\u00fdmi slne\u010dn\u00fdmi UVB l\u00fa\u010dmi, nie je \u00fapln\u00e9. Je v\u0161ak zn\u00e1me, \u017ee produkty ich oxid\u00e1cie v atmosf\u00e9re napom\u00e1haj\u00fa tvorbe mrakov, ktor\u00e9 odr\u00e1\u017eaj\u00fa slne\u010dn\u00e9 \u017eiarenie a produkuj\u00fa zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00e9 zr\u00e1\u017eky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u010co je na tomto argumente zl\u00e9?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aj ke\u010f je ur\u010dite pravda, \u017ee konope uvo\u013e\u0148uje monoterp\u00e9ny<\/a>, mno\u017estv\u00e1 a typy uvo\u013enen\u00fdch l\u00e1tok neboli definit\u00edvne stanoven\u00e9 (a l\u00ed\u0161ia sa medzi jednotliv\u00fdmi odrodami) a ich \u0161pecifick\u00fd sp\u00f4sob p\u00f4sobenia pri regul\u00e1cii atmosf\u00e9ry nebol hodnoten\u00fd. Zjavne neexistuje \u017eiadny z\u00e1klad pre tvrdenie, \u017ee konope uvo\u013e\u0148uje viac monoterp\u00e9nov ako v\u0161etky ostatn\u00e9 po\u013enohospod\u00e1rske plodiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Konope rastie obzvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 r\u00fdchlo, ale r\u00fdchlos\u0165, akou uvo\u013e\u0148uje terp\u00e9ny, nie je zn\u00e1ma. Okrem toho sa m\u00f4\u017ee sta\u0165, \u017ee existuje \u010fal\u0161\u00ed, alebo mo\u017eno mnoho \u010fal\u0161\u00edch druhov rastl\u00edn, ktor\u00e9 dok\u00e1\u017eu urobi\u0165 ekvivalentn\u00fa alebo lep\u0161iu pr\u00e1cu pri uvo\u013e\u0148ovan\u00ed atmosf\u00e9rick\u00fdch monoterp\u00e9nov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

V\u00fdznam CO2<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zalesnen\u00e9 regi\u00f3ny s\u00fa k\u013e\u00fa\u010dov\u00fdmi z\u00e1sob\u00e1r\u0148ami uhl\u00edka, ro\u010dne sekvestruj\u00fa<\/a> tony uhl\u00edka na hekt\u00e1r, \u010d\u00edm zni\u017euj\u00fa celkov\u00fa \u00farove\u0148 atmosf\u00e9rick\u00e9ho CO2 a z\u00e1rove\u0148 emituj\u00fa kysl\u00edk. CO2 je zn\u00e1my sklen\u00edkov\u00fd plyn<\/a> a zvy\u0161uj\u00faca sa koncentr\u00e1cia sklen\u00edkov\u00fdch plynov v atmosf\u00e9re je pevne spojen\u00e1 s antropog\u00e9nnou zmenou kl\u00edmy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ke\u010f\u017ee odles\u0148ovanie na\u010falej ovplyv\u0148uje zalesnen\u00e9 oblasti sveta, percento celkovej pokr\u00fdvky stromov drasticky kleslo. Predpoklad\u00e1 sa, \u017ee samotn\u00e9 odles\u0148ovanie m\u00e1 na svedom\u00ed ur\u010dit\u00e9 celkov\u00e9 zv\u00fd\u0161enie glob\u00e1lnych tepl\u00f4t v posledn\u00fdch desa\u0165ro\u010diach, preto\u017ee sp\u00f4sobilo n\u00e1rast CO2 o 12 % a\u017e 20 % nez\u00e1visle od toho, \u010do sp\u00f4sobil priemysel a in\u00e9 zdroje zne\u010distenia ovzdu\u0161ia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Konope sa skuto\u010dne pova\u017euje za cenn\u00fa plodinu sekvestruj\u00facu uhl\u00edk \u2013 spolu s mnoh\u00fdmi \u010fal\u0161\u00edmi komer\u010dn\u00fdmi plodinami, ako je s\u00f3ja, ry\u017ea, p\u0161enica a cukrov\u00e1 trstina. \u010cist\u00e1 sekvestr\u00e1cia uhl\u00edka priemyseln\u00fdm konope sa v\u0161ak odhaduje na 0,67 tony na hekt\u00e1r za rok. To je ove\u013ea menej ako predch\u00e1dzaj\u00face tvrdenie a je porovnate\u013en\u00e9 s in\u00fdmi be\u017en\u00fdmi plodinami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Konope je jednoro\u010dn\u00e1 plodina, \u010do znamen\u00e1, \u017ee sa zbiera ka\u017ed\u00fd rok. Preto sa l\u00ed\u0161i od stromov. Zatia\u013e \u010do jednoro\u010dn\u00e9 plodiny maj\u00fa nepochybn\u00fd potenci\u00e1l ako zachyt\u00e1va\u010de uhl\u00edka, najm\u00e4 ak sa v kone\u010dnom d\u00f4sledku nesp\u00e1lia alebo nepou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa ako biopalivo (procesy, ktor\u00e9 uvo\u013e\u0148uj\u00fa uhl\u00edk sp\u00e4\u0165 do atmosf\u00e9ry), viacro\u010dn\u00e9 stromy sa vo v\u0161eobecnosti pova\u017euj\u00fa za d\u00f4le\u017eitej\u0161ie v snahe kontrolova\u0165 atmosf\u00e9rick\u00fd CO2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0160t\u00fadia publikovan\u00e1 v roku 2011 preuk\u00e1zala, \u017ee atmosf\u00e9rick\u00e9 koncentr\u00e1cie CO2 700 ppm v\u00fdrazne zv\u00fd\u0161ili \u010dist\u00fa fotosynt\u00e9zu a efekt\u00edvnos\u0165 vyu\u017e\u00edvania vody v \u0161tyroch vysoko v\u00fdnosn\u00fdch odrod\u00e1ch konope  v porovnan\u00ed s koncentr\u00e1ciami 390 ppm. Na druhej strane koncentr\u00e1cie 545 ppm mali zanedbate\u013en\u00e9 \u00fa\u010dinky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atmosf\u00e9rick\u00e9 koncentr\u00e1cie CO2 v\u0161ak e\u0161te nedosiahli magick\u00fa hodnotu 700 ppm, ktor\u00e1 umo\u017en\u00ed konope r\u00e1s\u0165 efekt\u00edvnej\u0161ie. Pod\u013ea odhadov sa tento bod pri s\u00fa\u010dasn\u00fdch hodnot\u00e1ch emisi\u00ed dosiahne okolo roku 2100. St\u00e1le teda m\u00e1me viac ako 80 rokov na vysk\u00fa\u0161anie r\u00f4znych in\u00fdch strat\u00e9gi\u00ed, ktor\u00e9 potenci\u00e1lne udr\u017eia ni\u017e\u0161ie koncentr\u00e1cie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tieto strat\u00e9gie zah\u0155\u0148aj\u00fa op\u00e4tovn\u00fa v\u00fdsadbu ve\u013ek\u00e9ho mno\u017estva r\u00f4znych druhov rastl\u00edn, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa v s\u00fa\u010dasnosti ohrozen\u00e9 alebo podliehaj\u00fa fragmentovan\u00fdm biotopom. Ak by sa programy op\u00e4tovn\u00e9ho zales\u0148ovania, ktor\u00e9 by zah\u0155\u0148ali aj relat\u00edvne pomaly rast\u00face druhy, implementovali teraz, mali by o 80 rokov st\u00e1le zrete\u013en\u00fd vplyv.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pri spr\u00e1vne riaden\u00fdch technik\u00e1ch neexistuje d\u00f4vod, pre\u010do by sa konope nemalo pestova\u0165 ako s\u00fa\u010das\u0165 udr\u017eate\u013enej strat\u00e9gie sekvestr\u00e1cie uhl\u00edka. Strata biodiverzity je jedn\u00fdm z najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00edch faktorov ovplyv\u0148uj\u00facich dlhodob\u00e9 pre\u017eitie n\u00e1\u0161ho vlastn\u00e9ho druhu a in\u00fdch druhov, od ktor\u00fdch sme z\u00e1visl\u00ed. Zameranie sa na jednotliv\u00e9 plodiny v boji proti klimatick\u00fdm zmen\u00e1m nie je dlhodob\u00fdm rie\u0161en\u00edm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Namiesto toho, aby sme sa na konope pozerali ako na jedin\u00fa rastlinu, ktor\u00e1 bude chr\u00e1ni\u0165 pred \u010fal\u0161\u00edm antropog\u00e9nnym glob\u00e1lnym otep\u013eovan\u00edm, mus\u00edme sa pozrie\u0165 na \u0161ir\u0161\u00ed obraz. Lep\u0161\u00edm pr\u00edstupom by bolo sna\u017ei\u0165 sa chr\u00e1ni\u0165 v\u0161etky zost\u00e1vaj\u00face ekosyst\u00e9my, zachova\u0165 \u010do najviac biodiverzity a zintenz\u00edvni\u0165 u\u017e prebiehaj\u00face strat\u00e9gie v\u00fdsadby, ktor\u00e9 zah\u0155\u0148aj\u00fa \u0161k\u00e1lu druhov vhodn\u00fdch pre biotop a jeho potenci\u00e1lne vyu\u017eitie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pestovanie v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ieho mno\u017estva konope tam, kde je to vhodn\u00e9, by nepochybne prinieslo viacer\u00e9 v\u00fdhody. U\u017e teraz existuje ve\u013ea dobr\u00fdch d\u00f4vodov na legaliz\u00e1ciu konope a\u00a0m\u00f4\u017eeme k\u00a0nim prida\u0165 \u010fal\u0161\u00ed, konope pom\u00e1ha na\u0161ej kl\u00edme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
